Column: Schwarzenegger groped Indians in Calif.
Monday, October 20, 2003

"Writing last week for FindLaw.com, a well-trafficked legal Web site, Los Angeles attorney Edward Lazarus took a particularly dark reading of Arnold Schwarzenegger's targeting of Indian tribes and gaming revenues during the California recall election.

Lazarus, a graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School who's written a book, Black Hills/White Justice, about the Sioux Nation, looked for explanations of the actor's astonishing, not to mention dominating, victory. He focused on one perhaps not so obvious: Schwarzenegger's profoundly misleading ads regarding tribal gaming revenues not being taxed by the state."
