Conn. tribe to discuss water dispute with town
Friday, October 31, 2003

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut and the town of North Stonington are considering negotiations over the tribe's water authority, The New London Day reports.

The tribe had won a decision from the state Department of Public Health to have exclusive rights to provide water to a property it owns. But local officials and state attorney general Richard Blumenthal protested, and the decision was reversed last week.
