Tribe's youth program combats substance abuse

The Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma has received a Department of Justice grant for a youth intervention program.

The program is free to Indian youth ages 12-18 who have had problems with alcohol or drugs. It provides counseling services and cultural activities.

Non-Indian youth can participate for a fee.
