Subsistence hunters oppose drilling in North Slope

Subsistence hunters are opposing plans to expand drilling in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska.

Inupiat hunters and fishermen don't want an 800,000-acre area disturbed by development. They say the Bureau of Land Management should uphold habitat protections that were developed in 1998.

BLM is proposing to lift some of the restrictions to increase domestic oil production.
