Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas has signed a formal agreement with the Pelathe Community Resource Center.

Haskell students will be offered internships at the center, which provides job training and advocacy programs for Indians who live in Lawrence. Students learn the value of community service, a Haskell faculty member said.

In exchange, Pelathe gets the help of students and is able to use Haskell facilities.
