Washoe chairman endorses Clark for president
Thursday, December 18, 2003

Brian Wallace, chairman of the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and the state's Democratic Party’s first vice-chairman, is endorsing general Wesley Clark for president.

Clark is "quick to understand and respect indigenous peoples’ issues, most of the things we value," Wallace told the Associated Press.

Clark was one of several candidates who spoke to the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) last month.
