TUESDAY, MAY 14, 2002 Ten years ago this week, the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe opened a casino in Minnesota. The town of Hinckley hasn't been the same since. Roads, traffic, jobs, revenue and tourists have poured into what one business owner said was the state's "best-kept secret." The tribe hasn't been the same either. As the casino's profits grew, so did the tribe's influence in Indian Country. Get the Story:
