WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 2002 An aide to a committee headed by Sen. Pete Domenici (R-N.M.) who was placed on administrative leave for writing an essay critical of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) under an assumed name hasn't left his job yet, Al Kamen of The Washington Post reports today. Under the name Spartacus, Winslow Wheeler wasn't kind about McCain's federal spending habits. After he was revealed, Domenici placed the Senate Budget Committee staff member on leave but a source told In the Loop he is being given time "to sort things out." Get the Story:
