MONDAY, MAY 27, 2002 A group of 23 towns in Connecticut wants the Bush administration to stop recognizing tribes. The towns wrote to Secretary of Interior Gale Norton and Assistant Secretary Neal McCaleb. They want decisions to stop until the process can be reformed and made more "objective and apolitical."
