Nebraska's tribes could operate Class III games if a group of 90 communities have their way this November.

The communities are gathering signatures to put an amendment on the ballot that allows video slot gambling. The group says they have raised $138,000 and are well on their way to getting enough signatures to put their proposal before voters this winter.

If the video slot machines are legalized, the state wouldn't be able to refuse them to tribes.
