TUESDAY, JUNE 11, 2002 President Bush didn't really read an Environmental Protection Agency report on global warming, White House spokesperson Ari Fleischer admitted on Monday. "Whenever presidents say they read it, you can read that to be he was briefed," Fleischer said at the daily White House briefing. Bush had told reporters he read a "report put out by the bureaucracy" when asked about the EPA document The report initiated a stir because some took it to mean the Bush administration changed its mind and attributed global warming to human causes.
