Okla. tribe helps on bridge collapse

The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma has assisted in the rescue, recovery and clean up efforts at a bridge that collapsed late last month, killing 14.

The tribe owns the Arkansas Riverbed where the bridge collapsed. The tribal council has authorized a temporary easement so that state work crews can continue efforts.
