Oklahoma's tribes are being asked to prove their casinos are operating on Indian land, The Daily Oklahoman reports today.

The National Indian Gaming Commission is concerned about land issues that have surfaced in the state, including a dispute involving the Apache Tribe. The tribe contends it can operate a casino on land that was recently purchased.

The Chickasaw Nation has also been specifically questioned by the NIGC, Indianz.Com reported last week.
