Reviews: The Fast Runner Inuit film

"The Fast Runner (Atanarjuat)," the all-Inuit film, continues to get positive reviews as it opens across the country.

Ann Hornaday of The Washington Post calls it "a deeply expressive" film that is "capable of transporting audiences not just narratively but through the emotions and the senses." Steven Rosen of The Denver Post says the movie "is one of the year's best." Loren King of The Boston Globe says the depiction of Inuit legend is "filled with unquestionable grace and power."

The film has been showered with praise in Canada and in the international community. The movie will premiere at U.S. theaters throughout the summer and fall.
