Lawsuit filed over Okla. poultry farm

THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 2002 A poultry farm in Oklahoma is the target of a lawsuit which says a rancher didn't obtain proper permits from the state and a tribe. Tom Handrich contracted with an Arkansas company to raise 168,000 chickens every two months. He is accused of not obtaining ground water permits from the state and the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe and air permits from the state. Get the Story:
