Funds restored to N.D. tribal college

THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 2002 The House Interior Appropriations subcommittee has restored $3 million in funds to the United Tribes Technical College. The Bush administration cut the money from its fiscal year 2003 budget. Secretary of Interior Gale Norton visited the school last week and said there was nothing she could do to restore funds.
