Two die in Calif. sweat lodge

FRIDAY, JUNE 28, 2002 Two people who were participating in a New Age "vision quest" died in a California "death lodge" last week. Kirsten "Kris" Babcock and David Thomas Hawker died but authorities have yet to determine the exact cause. A toxic substance sprinkled on the rocks used for the sweat lodge or poor ventilation are being considered. Two others also participated but survived. Get the Story:
