FRIDAY, JUNE 28, 2002 An employee of the Mescalero Apache Nation has been charged with starting a fire on the southern New Mexico reservation. Paul James Valdez, 27, was arrested as part of a tribal-state-federal investigation into recent fires. Authorities expect more arrests. Get the Story:
