WEDNESDAY, JULY 10, 2002 A Senate subcommittee today is holding a hearing on a proposed management plan for the Missouri River. The plan isn't actually ready because of internal conflicts within the administration. But there are also political disputes over how much water should flow upstream and downstream. National Congress of American Indians President Tex Hall will testify. Hall is chairman of a North Dakota tribe affected by the river. The hearing is before the Water and Power Subcommittee of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. Get the Story:
