THURSDAY, JULY 11, 2002

"On June 12, a two-page letter from [U.S. Rep. Rob Simmons'] Washington office told what Congress is doing to “make America safer, the economy stronger, and securing the future for working families.” The 11 categories covered welfare reform to Israel resolution. In a two-page letter on June 14 from Jane Simmons, the congressman's daughter, there was a list of Rep. Simmons “accomplishments.” There was not a word about any federal recognition/casino matters and, rightly so, because Rep. Simmons hasn't done a darn thing on the growing and serious Indian problem. . ."
