New Mexico Attorney General Patricia Madrid foresees a long court battle over Pojoaque Pueblo's casino.

The tribe is operating under a 1997 compact that requires 16 percent revenue-sharing with the state. The Pueblo refuses to pay the money, citing the high rate.

The tribe also refused to sign a new agreement because it required payment of the owed money.
