Native man named to Alaska game board

WEDNESDAY, JULY 24, 2002 Alaska Gov. Tony Knowles named an Alaska Native to the Board of Game on Tuesday. One was Tim Towarak, a subsistence hunter and fisherman. Towarak is former mayor of Unalakleet and the president of the Bering Straits Native Corp., an Alaska Native village corporation. Get the Story:
