Crow Reservation man gets plea deal

WEDNESDAY, JULY 24, 2002 A Montana man was sentenced on Tuesday to three years in prison and three years of supervised release for abusive sexual contact with a child under the age of 12 on the Crow Reservation. Pete Chavez's sentence was part of a plea agreement arranged by federal prosecutors. But U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull said he didn't "deserve" a deal, according to remarks reported by The Billings Gazette. Get the Story:
