Okla. tribe to discuss future plans

THURSDAY, JULY 25, 2002 The Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma is inviting tribal members and area residents to a meeting on Saturday to discuss future plans. The tribe plans to build a $100 million casino and convenience center in three phases. Changes in the court system, a discussion on various issues including economic development and a review of five-year goals are also on the agenda for the meeting. Get the Story:
