FRIDAY, JULY 26, 2002

The Apache Tribe of Oklahoma was in court on Thursday to try and reopen its disputed bingo hall.

The hall is located on non-trust land. Oklahoma City authorities raided the facility and arrested gamblers, charging them with felonies.

The closure is preventing the tribe from needed funds, attorneys told a federal judge.
