BIA worker charged with arson in N.M.

A Bureau of Indian Affairs forestry worker has been indicted for allegedly starting fires on the Mescalero Apache Reservation in southern New Mexico.

Brian Klinekole, 26, faces four counts for three separate fires on the reservation. He is also charged with two counts for another blaze in the Lincoln National Forest.

The Mescalero Reservation was hit with a spate of fires dating for more than a year. A tribal worker has been indicted for arson in connection with one blaze.
