Idaho pow-wow honors tribal elder

MONDAY, JULY 29, 2002 The Coeur d'Alene's annual pow-wow turned into a memorial for tribal elder Isaac SiJohn, who died over the weekend. SiJohn, was at the pow-wow when he collapsed due to a heart attack. The last day of Julyamsh was dedicated to him and other elders. Julyamsh was expected to bring in more than 60,000 from all parts of the United States and Canada. Get the Story:
