Cherokee housing program gets $50M

TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2002 The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and federal officials announced a $50 million home loan program for tribal members. The money be used for low-income loans between $40,000 to $85,000. Members in the tribe's 14-county jurisdiction can apply. Get the Story:
