Native corp plans gas field expansion

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7, 2002 An Alaska Native regional corporation and its partners want to expand natural gas production in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Cook Inlet Region Inc., Unocal and Marathon Oil Company plan to add more roads, pipeline and other facilities. Environmental groups say the project would negatively impact the refuge. Get the Story:
