Wis. tribe institutes new seat belt law

The Menominee Nation of Wisconsin has a new tough seat belt law.

Tribal police are authorized to stop anyone seen without a seat belt. Fines for first violation are $50 for adults and $100 for children under 16 second violation. Second violation fines are double the amount.
