Maine tribe wants petroglyphs protected

The Passamaquoddy Tribe of Maine is trying to preserve petroglyphs from vandals and development.

The petroglyphs date back thousands of years and link Maine to other tribes, according to experts.

The state of Maine in April 2000 passed a law to protect Indian archaeological sites.
