Conference focuses on Indian law

The third annual Native Nations Law Symposium was held in Kansas on Thursday.

The conference focuses on Indian law and how it affects economic development, law enforcement and other aspects of tribal governments. Indian gaming was discussed as well as jurisdiction.

A reported 85 people attended. Speakers included tribal leaders, federal officials and Congressional representatives.
