Due to drought, business is down for a sod farm that leases land from the Navajo Agriculture Products Industry, the agribusiness of the Navajo Nation.

According to Steve Perez of SKJJ Turf Farm, retail sales are down between 60 to 70 percent. Wholesale sales haven't been affected, he said.

In its 25 years of existence, NAPI has only turned a profit once.
