Minn. Indian income grew in '90s

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2002 Income of Native Americans in Minnesota grew over the past decade but still trails that of whites, according to The Minneapolis Star Tribune. Based on the 2000 Census, the growth rate in American Indian income was more than twice that of whites. Native households still trailed by $20,000, when compared to 1990 figures. The spread of gaming during the 1990s was attributed in part to the rise in incoming. Get the Story:
