The Golden Hill Paugussett Tribe of Connecticut lacks federal recognition but is moving forward with plans for a casino.

The tribe wants to build in Bridgeport and is proposing to share 10 percent of slot revenues with the city. The city in exchange would set aside 200 acres for the casino and 1,000 acres elsewhere for tribal projects.
