Idaho tribe keeping eye on burn battle

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2002 The Coeur d'Alene Tribe of Idaho is keeping an eye on a legal battle over field burning. Burning practices in north Idaho have come under scrutiny by environmentalists. A class action against farmers seeks to stop the practice. The tribe isn't a party in this suit but allows field burning under restricted conditions. Get the Story:
