Utah tribe honors elders with pond

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2002 The Northern Ute Tribe of Utah dedicated a special pond for use by tribal elders. Elders Pond was made possible through funding from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Environmental Protection Agency and other sources. The $150,000 project is open only to elders, although they can invite guests, and will be stocked with fish. Get the Story:
