First Nation reacts to child death

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2002 The Lakahamen Band of the Sto:Lo First Nation of British Columbia, Canada, is trying to heal from the recent discovery of a child's body in a shallow grave. A grief counselor has been called in to help the 160 band members. The body of the 2-year-old girl was discovered on Saturday. A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the case.
