FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2002

The Shiprock Northern Navajo Nation Fair is in full swing in Shiprock, New Mexico.

The four-day event kicked off yesterday and so did the traffic. The local police department will add 100 officers to work tomorrow's parade, the worst congestion day, and will be supplemented by tribal and Bureau of Indian Affairs police.
