Big Indian goes on top of statehouse

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2002 A two-ton, 22-foot statue of an Indian was finally put on top of the Kansas Statehouse on Thursday. "Ad Astra" was initially hoisted on Monday but all of the parts didn't fit. Crews obtained the correct placement bolts. Get the Story:
