School holds 'lunch' about cannibals

MONDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2002 Campbell University of North Carolina, the the second largest Baptist university in the world, recently held a "lunch and learn" about a headhunting tribe in southeast Asia. "The Wa, a tribe of ferocious headhunters, was the focus of a recent Lunch and Learn session sponsored by the Campbell University Department of Government, History, and Justice," an October 10 school press release stated. According to former dean and professor Phillip L. Melvin, the Wa, located in Myanmar, "claimed to eat very little of their prey." Get the Story:
