Navajo extradition hearing scheduled

A Navajo Nation council delegate faces extradition to the state of New Mexico for alleged violation of state livestock laws.

Delegate J.C. Begay is accused of cattle rustling in New Mexico. He was served with a tribal extradition order but has not been charged with any tribal offenses.

The hearing will take place October 23.
