THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2002 "IMAGINE SITTING IN your big, beautiful house. Suddenly, you see strangers on your porch. But hey, it's a big place, so you let 'em stay, but you warn them, just keep to the porch. Next thing you know, they're in your living room. OK, you say, just don't go upstairs. Pretty soon, you find them in all of your bedrooms. OK, you say, you can have the house. Just stay out of the backyard. When you find them in the yard, you move to the toolshed.
