Russell Turcotte, a member of the Turtle Mountain Ojibwe Tribe of North Dakota, has been missing since July.

A search for Turcotte, 19, is being coordinated by Texas EquuSearch, a non-profit group. The family has received assistance from the Blackfeet Nation, a tribal medicine man and countless others.

Turcotte lives in Montana but was last seen in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where he called his mother for money for a train ticket home. He never picked up the money or made the train reservation.

Turcotte had been hitchiking back to Montana from a Rainbow Family gathering.
