WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2002 "I'm an American Indian. I've seen and read of excessive waste in government programs and gross mismanagement by tribal governments. We're real good at spending someone else's money. It's time for tribes and every American Indian to divorce themselves from dependence on the federal bureaucracy and to take control of their own destinies. Get in a Bible-believing church, work hard, educate yourself, seek counsel from successful, responsible people, abide by civil laws and be held accountable for your actions. . ." Get the Story:
