Idaho gaming expansion debated

Idaho voters are being asked to authorize expansion of gaming on the state's reservations.

Proposition 1 was funded by the Nez Perce Tribe and the Coeur d'Alene Tribe. David Matheson, chief executive officer of Coeur d´Alene Tribes Gaming Enterprises, said at a debate yesterday that gaming has brought Indians out of poverty.
