An Indian Health Service administrator in Oklahoma has resigned his post, The Daily Oklahoman reports.

Lawton Indian Hospital Robert Pipe sent in a fax on Monday, the paper said. No reason was provided, according to those who have seen the document.

Pipe was accused of financial mismanagement by several tribal leaders. The Southwest Oklahoma Inter-Tribal Health Board also wants his aides to step down.

"Well, that's one down and two to go," Caddo Tribe Chairwoman LaRue Parker told the paper.

The tribes have asked Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy Thompson to review the hospital.
