WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2002 The Maidu Tribe of California is near an agreement with a local county over a casino deal, The Appeal-Democrat reports. The agreement involves 40 acres of land the tribe seeks to have placed into trust. It will address how the tribe will pay Yuba County for services. Get the Story:
