School hosts Native media conference

The University of Oklahoma journalism school hosted a Native media conference this week.

The two-day conference began yesterday. Panels have featured tribal leaders, Native journalists and mainstream media representatives. Topics included coverage of tribal affairs, cultural insensitivity and Native-owned media.
