An Oklahoma racetrack is blaming its financial problems on Indian gaming.

The Blue Ribbon Downs lost a $750,000 last year and more than $1 million the year before, The Daily Oklahoman reported. The facility said it lost money after the Choctaw Nation started an off-track wagering parlor.

State Rep. Wayne Pettigrew wants to end the tribal monopoly on Class II, or bingo-like, gaming by allowing race tracks to have the games.
